A Typical Student Day

Secondary

Students are at the school by 7:30 am, the time when daily registration is held in the classrooms. The day starts with assembly – either a full school “Chapel” or morning assembly, a year assembly or a class assembly – and then three forty-minute lessons. There follows break, where morning snacks can be bought and then four more lessons. Lunch break for one hour and 10 minutes follows and after lunch there is one more lesson. After this last lesson, there is an hour of activity – sports, study or clubs. Friday afternoon is a free afternoon, but many students take part, either as players or spectators, in their own sports knock-out competitions.
