Okavango International School has a Pre-Primary School, Primary School and Secondary School along with a boarding department for secondary school students. Its mission is to ‘prepare leaders for Africa’ – through high standards of academic attainment, discipline and character building – recognising the wide scope of leadership from political and church leadership, down to leadership through community initiatives and most importantly, within the family.
The school aims to provide a strong educational foundation working towards the Primary School Leaving Education (PSLE) Examination at the end of seven years in the Primary School and International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination at the end of the fifth year in the Secondary School
The school is based on Biblical, Christian values. OIS is not exclusively for Christian students. Students of all faiths, and backgrounds are welcome.
